Export your data

Your data is yours. That's a rule here, not a feature — and this page is deliberately short because leaving (or just backing up) shouldn't need a manual.

Export everything

1. Open your dashboard (Home tab).
2. Find the "Your data, always" card.
3. Tap Download full export (JSON).

That's the complete record: properties, units, leases, tenants, the full ledger, work orders, and message history — one file, machine-readable, suitable for a backup, your accountant, or importing somewhere else.

The tax version

For a spreadsheet-friendly financial export instead, use the tax-season summary — that one's a CSV shaped for Schedule E.

No catch

• Free plan, paid plan — same export, always one click.
• No export fee, no "contact support to get your data," no waiting period.
• Export before canceling, export weekly as a backup, export for no reason at all. It's your data.

If an export ever fails or looks incomplete, that's a bug — email support@unlockabode.com and a person will fix it.
